This Margaret River winery has been making Semillon since 1977 although early on it was oaked. Now without wood, it is fresher, with dewdrops on grass, citrus, stone fruit and has a steely resolve that will enable it to age well for a decade or more. A locally-caught plump crayfish would not go astray with a bottle of this.
