A surprisingly oaky nose but with lots of dried figs and nutty, oatmeal, yeasty flavours and complexity, plus a touch of woody dryness coming in near the end of a tight, balanced, clean and long-finishing palate.

Try it with the sweetness of crayfish sauteed in butter.
