This has a savoury bouquet, perhaps the Cabernet Franc occupying the driving seat, whilst the medium-bodied palate displays impressive weight and concentration matched with vibrant acidity, hints of dark chocolate and cedar towards the tannic finish that still shows great clarity. Very fine, nice combination of Old and New World. Tasted November 2009.
