The nose is loaded with dense cassis and mulberry notes, ripe black fruit, leather and cigar box, dusty earth too, lots going on. Concentrated black fruit hits the palate with great intensity, black olive, bay leaf and mint leaf add nuance and complexity, tannins are gravelly tannin, excellent finish. Every Saturday lunch should be like this
