Full, rich and complex bouquet – fruit and oak laden with black cherry, blackberry, wild red fruits, milk chocolate and very toasty oak and barrel aromas. The palate reflects the nose exactly with medium+ acidity and medium++ tannins, quite dry, but packed with fruit and bold flavors. Balanced, long finish and medium+ complexity. This is a fabulous wine for food especially Osso buco type dishes or stinky cheese. Well made and a blend that Moss Wood will hopefully keep making.
