Blue Ribbon

Ribbon Vale has finally emerged from the shadows of its illustrious parent the Merlot is one of the best from an Australian producer.
There is an engaging character about this merlot, from the initial meeting on the nose through to the extended complexity on the palate. Generous and rich, with lavish fruit flavours of classic mulberry and dark plum splashed with a liberal amount of spices. While it has the structure for extended cellaring, it is mighty good now.
