Medium red-purple, not dark. Red berries and dried herbs, some walnuts, clean and fresh. Fruit-driven, not oaky. Lighter-bodied and lean, lacking the usual Moss Wood richness. But it’s a lovely wine: fresh, ripe and elegant. From a cold year, but no green tannins. Stylish, balanced wine with a lot of intensity and finesse. 18/5/2009
