Cedary nose and a touch of coconut. Fermented and aged 17 months in French oak, only 30% malolactic to retain acidity. Really creamy on the palate. A bright, lively but still very young wine with an attractive pear-like graininess. Long, minerally finish and marked intensity overall. (JH)
