While the 2012 Moss Wood Wilyabrup Cabernet Sauvignon is his crowning glory, the extremely affordable 2014 Moss Wood Amy’s, a Bordeaux styled blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, malbec and petit verdot, stands out as a wine of sublime quality as well. It started under a different label as a 100 per cent cabernet sauvignon, with Mugford smartly adding other complementary varieties to the rebadged Amy’s banner.
