Imposing bright straw-green colour; the complexity of the bouquet is immediately obvious with crushed citrus leaves, wood smoke and spice, not bad for an unwooded semillon. Its raw power on the palate is formidable, as is the acidity. Will always dance to the beat of its own drum – like it or leave it.
