The colour is deep and there are blackberry and dark-olive aromas with a patina of toasty oak, while the palate is medium to full-bodied with good intensity of red and blue fruits, spices and the barest herbal note. Good richness and fleshy extract. It really satisfies. (Screwcap)
Ageing: drink now to 12 years
Food: drink with thin grilled wagyu steak, with soy sauce and wasabi

Deep red with a good purple tint; the bouquet is blackberry and dark-olive with a rich char-oak overlay. In the mouth, it has medium to full-body and good intensity, with some richness and fleshy extract, which results in an amplitude which really satisfies. Black, red and blue fruits, spices, the barest input from herbal nuances, and the finish is long and nicely balanced. Excellent wine.
