From West Australia, Moss Wood Amy’s ’07, a stunning blend of cabernet, petit verdot and malbec that will get better after a few years, but it is drinking so well now that most won’t bother waiting. There is real depth of berry fruit flavours from the cabernet and petit verdot, but the malbec softens the blend, and the overall impact is in the “Can I have another glass please?” category.
